Pharmacy Technician Program

The Pharmacy Technician Program provides students with the education and training necessary to prepare them to work in various pharmaceutical settings. Courses for this certificate of achievement are offered over two semesters via online and classroom instruction in addition to directed work experience in local pharmacies to develop students' technical, procedural and clerical skills.

The pharmacy technician program is not accepting applications for the 2016-2017 academic year. Please contact a health programs advisor for more information.

NOTE: This is a limited entry program.  Students must attend a health programs orientation and meet with a health programs advisor for additional counseling prior to application.

Graduates can pursue careers in hospital, retail and clinical pharmacies, among others, or in the pharmaceutical industry.
